Luke

Luke was one of fifteen dogs that were found tied up in crates on the the side of the road.  Luke was the leader of this pack of dogs and was the hardest of all dogs to socialize.  The dogs were frightened and had never even laid a paw on grass before.  It took many hours of socialization and lots of sessions with our animal behavior expert, Tom Purcell, to get them ready for adoption.  All of the dogs found great homes but Luke being the oldest of the dogs and carrying the most baggage, could not find a home.  Tom took Luke to live with him and his family in hopes of helping him find a home.  Luke had other ideas and adopted Tom as his forever Dad.  Luke now lives with Tom and has become a good and gentle friend.  Luke visits the shelter often with his dad but always knows who he is going home with, his beloved Tom.
